Claire and Ollie - 12th June 2016

The amazing Chris Giles passed my details to the lovely Claire earlier in the year, I was delighted when she contacted me to help her with her Bridal Hair and Makeup.

Claire had her trial back in April, where we discussed her usual hair and makeup routine. Claire wears natural makeup day to day and would only wear her hair up if she was making a trip to the gym. With this in mind we started to experiment. After trying a few styles we soon discovered Claire felt the best version of herself with her hair 1/2 up 1/2 down with curls. We then opted for a no makeup makeup look, using makeup forever face and body foundation, bobbi brown concealer, MAC Prep and Prime to set. Followed by a subtle pink cheek using my new favourite Hourglass pallet and slightly defined eyes.

On the day itself Claire and her friendly bridal party got ready at Claire's home. I took one of my amazing assistants Tamlyn with me, as Claire and her four lovely bridesmaids had to be hair and makeup ready by 11:00am. This then left 1 hour to get in their dresses and have any pre wedding photos taken by Chris, before heading off to the beautiful Palladian Mansion Buxted Park for the ceremony.

So here you go, some lovely shots from the day:

And now, the lovely Tamlyn in action and some of the results....

Thank you so much for choosing Tamlyn and I your artists :)

Gemma and Sean - 6th August 2016

I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Gemma, one of her bridesmaids and mum at her trial in June this year. We had a lovely time experimenting with looks that would compliment the overall theme for the wedding day. Gemma decided on a Low Chignon Bun and natural timeless makeup for the day.

Some of the Makeup Products I used on the day to give Gemma a lovely Dewy skin whilst keeping oil under control:

At the trial, Gemma asked if I knew anyone who could apply immaculate / natural semi permanent individual lashes. Without hesitation I recommended a lovely lady and fellow makeup artist who I have had the pleasure of knowing for years: Tania Stephenson oliver. I then knew Gemma would be in safe reliable hands and have beautiful lashes on her wedding day that would last for weeks.

On the wedding day itself, there was Gemma, 4 bridesmaids and mum who all had to be hair and makeup ready by 11:45am at Barnett Hill Hotel in Wonersh. Needless to say I booked one of my lovely assistants: Charlene to help. We always work hard to stick to our timeline but add a little "buffer time" just incase of anything out of our control. Lucky we did on this day as the fire alarm went off 1 hour after we started. Thankfully it was short lived and we carried on swiftly :)

So here you go, some pictures from the lovely day captured by Ashley Gardner at Harbourside Studios.

Thank you so much for choosing me as your hair and makeup artist :)

Emily and Matthew - 9th July 2016

I'm so excited to write a little blog about Emily and Matthew's wedding.

Wedding Location: Bluebell Railway Horsted Keynes
Very Talented Photographer (and really nice guy): Steve Shipman photography

Emily contacted me through my website back in November last year to see if I would be available to help with hair and makeup for her wedding at which would be held at the Bluebell Railway in Horsted Keynes in July this year. Having not worked on a wedding at a railway before I was so excited to confirm I was free and would LOVE to help!

As Emily lived quite far from her wedding location, I organised for her trial to be at a hotel in Surrey. At the trial Emily informed me her wedding was going to be a 50's / 60's theme. To compliment it, she would love natural makeup with a black liner and either a vintage french pleat or vintage ponytail. I was so excited to experiment with the look.

On the Wedding Day itself there were quite a few ladies who needed to be hair and makeup ready by 11:00am. I therefore booked Tamlyn (one of my amazing assistants) to come with me and help get the lovely bridesmaids hair and makeup ready.

So here you go, some of the amazing pictures of the day by the lovely Steve Shipman:

Thank you so much for choosing me as your artist :)

Monika and Corey - Wedding 19th February 2016

Monika and Conran Signing the Register

Wedding Location: Wotton House, Wotton, Surrey

I first met the Lovely Monika back on 10th January at her trial, where we discussed how she would usually wear her hair and makeup. Then how she would like to look on her wedding day. We started to experiment with makeup looks that would compliment her beautiful skin tone and hair styles that would show off her amazing hair colour until we found the look she loved for her wedding day.

On the day itself I arrived just before 8am at Wotton House to start getting Monika and her friend Magda ready.

I recreated Monika's look from the trial using some of my favourite products, heres a few I used:
Primer: Benefit the POREfessional face primer
Foundation: Touche Eclat Le Teint Foundation
Powder: Prep and prime Transparent Finishing powered
Eye Shadow: Bobbi Brown Brown and Gold Pallet
Mascara: Luxurious Mascara - Waterproof

For Monika's hair she opted for a curly undo with lots of texture which I loved creating for her :)

Saskia and Carl - Wedding 14th May 2016

I met the lovely Saskia at her trial on the 20th March. We soon discovered we had lots of things in common. Our love for Shabby Chic Furniture and afternoon tea with delicious cakes :)

During her consultation, Saskia asked to try soft brown smokey eyes focusing around the lash line, slightly dewy skin and a nude lip. For Hair Saskia wanted to try a half up half down style then a high bun as an alternative in which we could place some natural flowers. With this info, I started experimenting. We created a style in which we thought would beautifully compliment her dress and theme for the day.

On the day itself, I arrived at 9:15am to set up at The Horse Guards Inn, Tillington, Petworth. Its a beautiful gastro pub with B & B cottage rooms attached. The Church where Saskia and Carl were to be married was a stone throw away just on the other side of the road. The Road itself looked like a perfect picture postcard.

I started by doing Karla's hair and makeup (Saskia's beautiful daughter), followed by Saskia's Hair and makeup.

Here are the results, Photos taken by the lovely http://www.millieandbelle.com

Laura and Callum - Wedding 13th February 2016

I absolutely loved meeting Laura (and Callum - as he left their beautiful flat in Kingston as most Grooms to be do when the hair and makeup trial is about to start).

At Laura's trial on the 23rd January we discussed different looks and went through the pictures of hair and makeup she liked which she had sent me a few days before.

Laura being a PE teacher didn't wear a lot of makeup day to day (Apart from the 3 months when she was in the x factor live shows Choir - that is another story!) Laura also enjoyed wearing her hair down when not at work.

Laura was looking for a "Pretty Makeup" look, not too heavy possibly using gold / bronze colours and a few individual lashes. We started very natural and built the look up from there. We then experimented with different down hair styles, incorporating Laura's stunning accessory.

On the day itself, Laura and Callum got married at the beautiful Nonsuch Mansion, Cheam, Surrey (One of my favourite venues and an absolute dream bridal suite with natural light flowing in from the enormous windows).

Here are a few pictures of the end result:

Not only did Laura very kindly send me some her beautiful pictures she also left me this amazing review... Thank you so Much Laura xxx

"I only have great things to say about Stephanie! She did hair and makeup for my mum, sister and I on the big day and I am SO pleased she was involved in my wedding. She was friendly, calm and all round brilliant from the initial trial right up until the moment I walked down the aisle. Her timings and attention to detail were impeccable. I cannot say enough positive things about her!"

Abi and Dean Wedding on 20th June 2014

I met the lovely Abi at the Nonsuch Mansion Wedding Fair in Autumn 2013, I was pregnant at the time with my second little boy :) We scheduled Abi's trial for as soon as I came back from Maternity leave in April 2014.

Abi is a very beautiful lady and had a good idea of the look she wanted to go for on her wedding day. My brief for hair was a high detailed bun and for Makeup a evened out skin tone and a soft Smokey eye using browns and gold's. For the Eye shadow I opted for Bobbi Browns Gold and Brown Pallet.

I enjoyed every minute of making Abi up on her wedding day and she was an absolute natural when the photographer started clicking away.

Abi and Dean's wedding took place at one of my favourite venues which is Nonsuch Mansion in Cheam, Surrey. For any lucky bride and groom's who have chosen this venue, the wedding planners and Bovingdons Caterers here are some of the best in the business and nothing is too much trouble leading up to the wedding or on the day its self.

But just before I show you the wedding pictures here's a quick 3 minute video shot by the very talented John harris Wedding Films: "https://player.vimeo.com/video/100918723"

And as for the amazing pictures here you go:

Emma and Darren Wedding on 12th June 2015

I Had the pleasure of doing Emma's hair and makeup on her wedding day. I arrived at The Halfway Bridge Inn near Petworth West Sussex at 08:45am and started with the 3 lovely bridesmaids hair. Then at 10:30 it was Emma's turn.

I first of all prepped Emma's hair by using a BaByliss Pro curling tong and pinning the curls to her head to cool whilst I then concentrated on her makeup.

The Makeup look was quite natural using Makeup forever face and body foundation, Mac Prep and prime powder to set, Bobbi Brown's Antigua blush on the cheeks to add a subtle pop of colour then neutral eye shadows and Emma's lashes defined with a little Bobbi Brown Gel Eye liner. Once makeup was complete, I then went back to Emma's hair. By 12:30 Emma was Hair and Makeup ready and it was time to get in her Beautiful dress.

Following a few pictures outside the lovely little cottage at the Half Way Bridge Inn it was time for me to bid farewell and for the gorgeous bridal party to make their way to Bartholomew Hurst and Barn where the Ceremony was to take place.

Have a look at some of the stunning pictures.
